Here is a typical map of downtown Banff. What we didn't know when we arrived was that our hotel was not located within the town! It's actually some 25 or so km back the way we had driven. Anyway, we found it and settled in and did a gorgeous hike in the afternoon. Next couple of posts I'll show the Waterfall trail - some 5.5 km long - on which we hiked and thoroughly enjoyed. I think it's stopped raining now so we're going outside!

Day 5 - Revelstoke to Banff (Post #3)
Here is a typical map of downtown Banff. What we didn't know when we arrived was that our hotel was not located within the town! It's actually some 25 or so km back the way we had driven.
