Day 4 - Loon Lake to Revelstoke (Post #3)

One of the very cool things we got to do on our way to Revelstoke was a 30-minute ferry ride from Gallina Bay to Shelter Bay. The next post will be a photo I took from our ferry of the other ferry which was headed in the other direction. These small ferries travel across the Columbia River all year round! They carry cars, trucks, including semis, motor homes, busses - you name it, they will carry it across the river. Our weather was spectacularly beautiful, plus we saw a trio of Common loons. Simply wonderful.
