Obviously, we arrived in Vancouver safely and found Nathan & Mary's house with no trouble. The 5 of us (including Bella, our 1-year-old grandpuppy) went for a stroll on a very nice and popular trail near a sort-of estuary called Salmon Creek, even though there are no salmon in it. Nathan, Mary and Bella are all well and we had a great time with them.It's Sept. 14 right now and we are about to depart their house for Loon Lake Washington, about 20 miles north of Spokane. A big drive, so we'd better get going.
