Forgot one bit of trivia that's important.
This pertains to the Athabasca glacier. Our driver told us that it's gaining in distance (meaning it grows) by 85 feet per year. Then, in the summer, it recedes by 100 feet. You can do the math to realize that this glacier is shrinking by 15 feet each year. Guess what's causing this. Go see it now while it's still here!
